Welcome to the Kookaburra Stitches Photo Gallery.
Here you will find some of the many photos I have taken, which give me inspiration and ideas for my designs.
These images are available for purchase. Simply go to the 'Photos' section under 'Categories' on the Home Page. When you purchase, you will receive the image via email without the watermark.

This is a King Parrot. I took this photo at O'Reilly's, in Lamington National Park.

This is the view from my house, looking down the Brisbane River.

These two flowers are both Grevilleas. There are numerous types of Grevilleas, and all are very appealing to nectar feeding birds and insects, as they literally drip nectar when in flower.
The Kookaburra. I took this picture in my garden. I get many kookaburras visiting my garden every day.
The beach at Noosa. The cloud formation is what caught my attention in this picture.
One of the many beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast.
I snapped this Rainbow Lorikeet having a feed on some Grevilleas in my garden.
On the Noosa River.
A Welcome Swallow. I was lucky to catch this little guy, as they fly about in pairs so quickly, they rarely stay still for long enough to photograph.
I have a Gum Tree in the garden which attracts a huge amount of birds when it is in flower, like this Scaly Breasted Lorikeet and Rainbow Lorikeet.
